Chelsea’s untimely passing left her family, friends, and the entire community in deep mourning. To honor her memory, a visitation was held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 2:00-5:00 pm at Riggs Funeral Home, located at 130 North Rt. 9, Forked River, NJ 08731. A wake service was conducted at 4:30 pm. The following day, a Funeral Liturgy was offered at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 300 Lacey Road, Forked River, at 11:00 am. The burial was private.
The Celebration of Chelsea Diehl Scholarship Fund
To perpetuate Chelsea’s memory, her family has set up the Celebration of Chelsea Diehl Scholarship Fund. It is meant to help prevent teenage suicides and hence it’s of great importance. In the family gathering, Chelsea was never left out; her bright personality made it complete. She was remembered by her cousins as a party girl who could tell a joke on anything or perform dance at any time.” Chelsea’s laughter became the background music of our family meet-ups,” said her aunt. “There was something about it – she made everyone feel special and wanted.”
